  • How to Apply?

    Life can be demanding and there’s no time for long queues and calls. That’s why we’ve made our whole application process an online experience.

    All you have to do is decide how much you want and when to pay using our quick loan calculator then simply click to apply!

    Once you’ve completed our 5-minute online application and your loan’s been approved, we’ll ask you to sign the contract online and upload your 3 recent bank statements.

    You’ll receive payment into your account immediately after that!

  • What are the requirements for applying for an InstaLoan?

    You need to

    • Be 18 or older
    • Be a South African citizen
    • Have a regular income deposited into your bank account

  • What are the costs?

    With us, what you see is what you get. Once you’ve calculated how much you want and over how long you want to pay it back using our loan calculator, the repayment amount you see is the amount you’ll pay back.

    Our loans are completely transparent and our interest and fees are in line with the NCA regulations. We charge a fixed monthly interest rate of 5% over the duration of your loan.

  • How do I repay?

    We make it easy for you to repay your loan by deducting your monthly instalment from your bank account on your repayment date via debit order. You tell us when you would like your instalment date to be.

    Please ensure that you have sufficient funds in your bank account on your repayment day to cover your debit order so that you don’t incur additional charges. If the bank declines the debit order you may incur penalty fees from your bank and additional interest on your loan.

  • Can I make additional payments to my loan?

    Yes you can. Here’s how:

    • Pay at any PicknPay, Checkers, Shoprite, Woolworths or Boxer using your personal EasyPay reference number
    • Pay via EFT using internet or cell phone banking
    • Deposit into our bank account at any FNB branch 

  • What is your banking details?

    If you would like to repay your account by making a cash deposit, our banking details are

  • How do I settle my InstaLoan early?

    If you feel like you’re ready to pay off your loan early you can do that without having to worry about additional costs.

    You can check your settlement balance by calling our customer care call centre on 087 743 2000 and our customer care representatives will gladly help you.

  • How do I provide my latest proof of income?

    We’ll ask you to upload your most recent 3 months bank statements during the application process. If you don’t have your documents available during the application process, you can save your application and upload them later, email them to docs@instaloan.co.za or fax them to 086 718 4301 using your ID number as reference.

  • How long does credit approval and payment take?

    Less than a minute. Once you’ve completed your application we’ll process your application immediately and let you know whether it’s been approved. We’ll then ask you to sign your contract electronically and submit your documentation (3 months bank statements). After that, your money is paid straight into your account!

  • Are loans paid out at any time in the week?

    We process payments every hour during the week. While you can still apply on weekends and public holidays, we can only process payments the next business day.

  • Where can I find a copy of my contract?

    Your contract is available in the personal account profile that you would have created during your application.

  • How many InstaLoans can I have at a time?

    We prefer to keep you out of debt and that’s why we offer only offer one loan at a time. Once you’ve repaid your current loan we’ll happily help you take out a new one.

  • How can I get my balance or a statement?

    You can get your balance from one of our friendly consultants when you call our customer care call centre on 087 743 2000.

  • What happens if I can’t remember username or password?

    We understand that these things happen so all you need to do is call our call centre on 087 743 2000 and our customer care representatives will gladly help you.
